February’s Biggest Challenge: Neon Leads the Build & Breakdown of the Athletics Indoor Running Track
April 2025 was packed to the brim with exciting projects, new collaborations, and some serious behind-the-scenes hustle from our incredible team!
🚧 New Work, Fresh Energy
This month brought new opportunities and familiar faces. We were thrilled to team up once again with The Arena Group, jumping into action at Utilita Arena Birmingham for the Hot Wheels event, installing demountable seating units that set the stage for high-octane fun.
A brand-new challenge rolled in with Ghost’s VIP Experience, also at Utilita Arena Birmingham. The VIP Manager from Super Fan Live called us in to help stage their exclusive activation area—and of course, our crew delivered.
Even cooler (literally), we kicked off a new partnership with Planet Ice, supporting an event at Solihull Ice Rink. The team helped install and breakdown a disabled access ramp and lay the specialist flooring that transforms the rink for multipurpose use. That led us straight to more work at Skydome Arena in Coventry for May – More to come from this awesome connection!
Over at the NEC Halls, we took on something a bit different: providing Help Desk operatives to support the NEC team during live builds for multiple shows—proving that no task is too unique for our crew.
🏐 Sport Floor Installations Across the UK
Netball season is in full swing, and so are we! From our local team Birmingham Panthers to our sponsored team Cardiff Dragons, and fixtures for Nottingham Forest and London Mavericks, our teams travelled far and wide—Cardiff, Brighton, Nottingham, Worcester—to install Haro wooden floor and vinyl sports flooring.
We also made a stop at Manchester Velodrome, laying down Enlio flooring for Table Tennis England for the WTT Feeder Series. Game on!
🎤 Arenas That Rocked
Our arena crews were non-stop, working behind the scenes on some of the biggest shows of the month: Gabrielle, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ball and Boe, Paul Smith, Sugababes, Central Cee, The War of the Worlds, Sean Paul, and even Torvill and Dean on Ice. Oh, and did we mention PlayStation in Concert? From massive seating installations to complex staging setups—our team handled it all with precision and flair.
🏗️ Exhibitions & Events
We reunited with some of our long-standing exhibition clients at the Food and Drink Show and The Security Event—both held at NEC Halls—helping build out their stands and making sure everything was show-ready.
